INJECTABLES
Anti-wrinkle treatment
What is anti-wrinkle treatment?
Anti-wrinkle treatment involves injecting a solution into precise areas of skin to improve and prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How does it work?
Wrinkles are creases that appear on the skin. Over time, due to the regular use of our facial muscles, deep lines and wrinkles can become ingrained into the skin even when the face is resting. The solution used in anti-wrinkle injections is typically made of botulinum toxin.

Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin that works by temporarily blocking nerve impulses from reaching facial muscles. This prevents these muscles from contracting which in turn prevents the facial expressions that cause static lines (lines present when the face is neutral) to appear.

How long will the results last?
The results of the injections can be noticed as soon as three days after treatment with the final results seen by two weeks. On average the results of the treatment last between 3 to 4 months, after which Botulinum toxin is naturally cleared from the body and the muscle contractions will return. However, a small but significant minority (approximately 5%) of the population may develop resistance to the injections meaning that the results will not last as long as 4 months.

What is the procedure downtime?
Please allow up to thirty minutes for your treatment. This will involve a thorough consultation after which the procedure time typically lasts between 2 to 5 minutes. Immediately after the treatment, there will be some redness and swelling. This will settle within 30 minutes. A complimentary top-up can be performed 2 weeks post-procedure if required.

Lip Augmentation
What is Lip Augmentation?
This treatment involves the injections of hyaluronic acid into the lips to improve the shape and/or add volume to achieve the desired treatment outcome.

How Long Does It Last?
The results of the dermal filler used in the lips can last up nine months, with repeated treatments the filler can up to 18 months.

Will It Hurt?
A modified dental block is used to provide total anaesthesia for the duration of the lip augmentation process. This is the gold standard for pain relief for lip augmentation and involves four injections of local anaesthetic into your gums, numbing all layers of the lips. The dental block also contains a small amount of adrenaline which helps to constrict the blood vessels in the lips reducing the risk of bleeding and bruising from the procedure. The numbing sensation lasts up to two hours. There is also the option to have a local anaesthetic numbing cream applied 30 minutes prior to your procedure to numb the superficial layer of the lips.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty
What is a non-surgical rhinoplasty?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as the 'liquid nose job', is achieved by injecting hyaluronic acid dermal filler in precise locations into the soft tissue in the nose to shape, contour and straighten the nose. Creating long-lasting results in as little as 15 minutes.

How Long Does It Last?
Hyaluronic acid filler applied here can last between 9 to 12 months.

Does It Hurt?
Topical local anaesthetic is applied to the nose 30 minutes prior to the procedure and a fine needle is used to inject the hyaluronic acid to ensure maximum comfort.
Tear Trough Filler
What is Tear Trough filler?
The tear trough is the area between your cheek and lower eyelid. As we age, we lose volume in this area, causing under-eye dark circles, hollows and eye bags to appear. An effective tear trough treatment is to inject a low-density soft hyaluronic acid filler into this area – restoring the lost volume and reducing the appearance of dark circles and hollows.

How Long Does It Last?
Hyaluronic acid filler applied here can last between 18 to 24 months.

How Many Mls Will I Need?
The amount of filler required will depend on the degree of skin laxity and maturity of the skin. Most clients with hollowness under the eye will require a combination approach of filler treatments including cheek augmentation. The average client requesting this treatment will need a minimum of 2 mls of filler at the initial treatment to achieve the best aesthetic result. If required additional filler may be applied 6 weeks after the initial treatment.

Does It Hurt?
A cannula technique is used for this procedure. This involves making a tiny pilot hole with a sharp needle into the skin through which a small amount of local anaesthetic is applied. The sharp needle is then removed and a cannula (blunt needle) is inserted through the pilot hole and fed underneath the skin to apply tiny filler droplets in the tear trough region. There are minimal pain receptors under the skin, making the procedure virtually pain-free. An additional benefit of using a cannula is that there is reduced trauma to the skin and tissue structures therefore reducing
the risk of bruising.
Jawline and Chin Augmentation
What is Jawline and Chin Augmentation?
High density filler is injected at the angle of the jaw (the mandibular arch), along the jawline (the mandible) and into the chin, creating a defined jaw line. Dermal filler can also be applied here to treat the jowls.

How Long Does It Last?
Hyaluronic acid filler applied here can last up to 18 months.

How Many Mls Will I Need?
For a prominent structured jawline, a minimum of 2-3 mls of filler would be required at the initial treatment. For the chin 1ml of filler should be sufficient. If required, the additional filler may be applied after 6 weeks.

The sharp needle is then removed and a cannula (blunt needle) is inserted through the pilot hole and fed underneath the skin to apply tiny droplets of filler in the desired locations both along the cheekbone and within the midface. There are minimal pain receptors under the skin, making the procedure virtually pain-free. An additional benefit of using a cannula is that there is reduced trauma to the skin and tissue structures, therefore, reducing
the risk of bruising. A needle is used for the placement of chin filler. Local anaesthetic is also used here to ensure maximum comfort during this portion of the treatment.
Cheek/Midface Augmentation
What is Cheek/Midface Augmentation?
The 'Cheek' for simplicity can be divided into two areas. The malar area (also known as the midface) which is the front of the face and the zygomatic area (the arch of the cheekbone). Filler can be added here to restore lost volume, contour, define and shape the face, whilst lifting the facial tissues, resulting in a face-lifting effect.

Nasolabial fold and Marionette line treatment
What is Nasolabial fold and Marionette line filler?
The Nasolabial fold refers to the lines which extend from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth. The marionette lines, commonly referred to as the jowls, refers to the lines that extend from the corners of the mouth to the chin. Dermal filler can be added here to restore lost volume and reduce the appearance of deep lines/creases in the skin.

The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.
Fat Dissolving and Cellulite Treatment
How does it work?
This Fat-Dissolving and Cellulite Treatment is designed to tackle localised fat, cellulite and water retention. The treatment is through injections into the subcutaneous layer. These deliver a key formulation containing deoxycholic acid, soya lecithin and vitamin PP (nicotinamide). These combine to break down the fat cells, destroying them permanently and releasing lipids which are then expelled by the body through the lymphatic system.

In addition, the treatment also stimulates the production of collagen for a firming effect and even a ‘lift’, depending on the area being treated.

Where can the treatment be used?
Double chin, jowls
Belly fat/abdomen
Buttocks, hips
Arms/bingo wing
Initial results are visible in just 2 weeks, though it takes a little longer for the full effect to develop. A course of treatment is recommended for best results.
